As everybody knows, Google won a battle on the DoJ concerning the access to part of its data. And Google was the only one to refuse: what about AOL, Yahoo!, MS? they agreed before knowing if they had to!
I met yesterday at Forum des Droits Internet, Sophie PRADERE (European Legal Counsel at Yahoo!) and Yoram Elkaim (Legal Counsel - France at Google). The keynote was made by Professor Cédric MANARA (Legal Sciences Dpt at EDHEC - you should visit lieu-commun [fr] too) about French legal decisions on Google AdWords cases. Quite interesting!
I told them about what I wrote on this blog. I agreed with them to send them the URL.
I hope they will forward this call-to-dialog to the right person at Yahoo! and Google.
